Hillside Manor

For this project, I was “hired” by McBride Stephens, LLC to develop the initial plans for a cornerstone building within the Smith Mountain Lake Retirement & Graduated Care Community. This facility seamlessly integrates memory care with assisted living apartments, allowing spouses to reside close to their loved ones while receiving the appropriate level of care. The design emphasizes safety, comfort, and a homelike atmosphere, incorporating intuitive layouts, soothing aesthetics, and accessibility features tailored to residents' needs. By blending functionality with warmth, this project fosters a supportive and dignified living environment.
